Many who live pay check to pay check lack an emergency fund, leaving them vulnerable when unexpected expenses arise. Often, they turn to Buy Now, Pay Later schemes or credit card debt, which worsen their financial difficulties as they struggle to repay these debts.

In my own experience, I discovered I was overspending at the butchers due to having three teenagers who seemed like bottomless pits. I made a conscious decision to adjust my spending habits, ensuring that I spent less than $10 per meal to feed my family three to four times a week.

In this episode we will share plenty of valuable tips on reducing grocery expenses. Mel and her fiancé have developed a useful strategy to cut costs.
